2021 Annual Awards
We cannot begin to understand what some of the individuals and businesses may be going through in our community right now. Our thoughts are with you all and we hope to see you in person again soon.
It is no surprise that with current restrictions due to Covid-19, we were unable to host our August event.
Refunds will be issued immediately for those who have purchased tickets. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Our focus is now on September where we will present our Annual Awards any way possible!
The Newcastle Business Club Annual Awards recognise a younger (under 35) person, an individual and a company/organisation each year who have made a significant contribution toward the commonweal of Newcastle and the Hunter Region. Whether that is through the improvement of industry, culture, education, sport or the overall commonweal of the citizens of Newcastle.
Nominations are open NOW!
More information and nomination forms are available on our website HERE
With Newcastle and the Hunter in lockdown along with much of the state, we understand many small businesses may be struggling again.
One business we would like to give mention is Marina Views. This is the venue we host our luncheon every month. The team at Marina Views have always made our events enjoyable and easy to manage.
Unfortunately, we have had to cancel two luncheons with them now and this is nothing compared to the many other events they would usually host.
You may not know, but the team does have one small area of the business still operational – Shipyard Café & Takeaway.
Have you noticed the little takeaway on the Marina at Wickham? This is run by Eammaly, Guy & the team.
If you are in the area and looking for a takeaway option, it is worth checking them out!

Please keep an eye on your emails and social media for future updates. We hope to be back in September and to see you then.
Thank you for your support so far in 2021.
